'Team' Building

We had our annual R&D team building day last Friday at Labrador Park. This time I'm not in the committee so I was able to really participate in the games and activities. I was also in the light green team with 11 other people from different project teams all, except for two, of whom I've never met before.

The day started with a very fine weather, then the clouds started to grow dark as we were heading to the venue. And just as we were about to begin, the rain started pouring. Everybody ran to the nearest gazebo for shelter. It was kind of fun squeezing in a small place and still trying to pose for photos. We were actually there for quite some time before we transferred to another area in the park with a bigger shelter. Once we got settled.. well.. The fun and games began. Even though we did not place in the top 4 (there were 14 teams), we still had fun.

I was so tired that when I got home I went directly to bed for a nap. It was already dinner time when I woke up, so I guess it wasn't just a nap afterall. We, housemates, initially planned to dine out. But I suggested to just order for delivery as I was feeling too lazy to go out for dinner. We called for 2 pizzas, some chicken wings and cinnamon sticks. Dinner arrived just in time. This was our 'team' building activity in the apartment. We love good food. Happy eating, housemates!
