Wet Wednesday

It has been raining for the past two mornings, but today the rain did not stop in the time that I expected it to. Yesterday the rain stopped just as we were leaving our flat to go to the office. But today, the rain seems to have no plans of stopping.

This is the view I got from our living room window. I was waiting for my roommate to finish her shower and thought of watching mother Earth taking a shower of her own. Then right after I took this photo I saw lightning from a distance, and the thunder followed. I guess now that that was a sign that the rain isn't stopping anytime soon. It is still raining as I am writing this post.

I really hope it stops by lunch time. I need to go somewhere important.
