Want some?

A Thai colleague of mine just came back from her home town and she brought back some food. And I like the food. It's sticky rice with mango, a.k.a "puto maya ug mangga" in my native toungue.

I miss this food. Back home I used to have this for breakfast at least once a week, usually when I have nowhere to go in the morning.

I especially miss mango. I'll tell you a secret. They have mangoes here, but not as good as what we have in the Philippines.

I miss Filipino food! ;-)

  1. Fact na gyud na Jan hehehe. Philippine mangoes are the best. I don't know why they don't import from the Philippines. Maybe if they do, well, I'll be the first one to queue.

  2. That's why I can't imagine why they don't import fresh mangoes from the Philippines when they already import our bananas. I did find some dried mangoes for sale at FairPrice and I'm very familiar with it because it's one of those bracnds that I buy back in Cebu.
